Alright... so I'm kind of cheating here a little bit since I'm supposed to be sharing all of our awesome events from 2018 and Cassandra & Jerome's wedding actually took place in June of 2017... but it's one of my favourites and it deserves it's own special spotlight today!
Cass reached out to me in early January of 2017 and after a quick phone call she sent me her Pinterest Board and I fell in love. Cass wanted to dress up the industrial space at Zibi's 3 Eddy St location with lots of greens and white blooms. We were starting completely from scratch and had to bring every piece into the space.
Cassandra's bouquet was one of my favourites to design. It was full of alstroemeria, tulips, ranunculus, lisianthus, and tons of greens. No roses.
Inside Zibi, the contrast of the crisp white linens filled with greenery and white blooms next to the rough interior of Zibi's event space was jaw-dropping.
One of the biggest challenges presented by this space is the fact that there is no lighting whatsoever. We brought in some Edison string lighting to hang from the ceiling and added uplighting to the walls.
We also wanted to soften the ceiling and highlight the long dramatic space - so naturally we hung long panels of white drape.
In addition to having impeccable taste, Cassandra and Jerome were one of the sweetest couples I've ever had the pleasure of working with.
I know it's been two years, you guys, but I'm still so glad you chose Sage to help you bring your wedding space to life! Wishing you many years of love and happiness.
