Stacy and Alex celebrated their wedding in the fall of 2018 at the lovely Ramada Inn in Cornwall, Ontario.
Stacy wanted so deep burgundy tones in her florals with pops of blush and lots of texture. We had SO MUCH fun with this design and I'm obsessed with how her bouquet turned out.
Also... can we talk about the Flower Girl, Emma, for a minute? How freakin' cute is she with her adorable crown and her little bouquet?!?!?!
I love when people come to us with a theme and carte blanche on the design interpretation of that theme. Shannon's only instructions for this design were:
"Tuscan Lemon Grove"
"Oh, and also... I LOVE your trees!"
So that was it! And away we went planning the perfect design for Shannon and Pat... a beautiful space to celebrate their engagement with all of their favourite people.
You couldn't ask for a more stunning venue. Le Belvedere is one of our favourite place to work in. I love blank spaces but Belvedere goes beyond "blank space" because the design elements are subtle and neutral enough that they feel like a blank space but they actually serve to elevate everything you bring in.
The wood furniture and wood posts framing the edge of each wall makes it easier to show off the stained barrel and crates we brought into the space. Not to mention the tree trunks of our various cherry blossoms trees.
The large windows show off a spectacular view of the tree-filled mountains and so every piece of greenery we place in the room pulls the outside in and makes the inside feel more like part of the landscape.
Le Belvedere's white chiavari chairs, French country furniture, and warm white lanterns helped us pull everything together seamlessly. Toss in a few fresh lemons... et voila!
This was such a fun event to design... massive thank you to Kim Ing Photography for capturing it!
